Last month, I had laser gum surgery at Dr. Bruce Nelson's office. Keep in mind; I had only been to a hygienist for a dental cleaning once in forty years so needless to say, my gums were crying for relief. The procedure was virtually painless. I received roughly six to eight shots for each half of my mouth and all but two were absolutely painless. After the first half of my mouth was completed, the worst part of the post operative time was a sore jaw. Dr. Nelson and the staff were extremely helpful and caring. I even received follow-up calls the night after surgeries to see how I was feeling. I would wholly recommend this procedure, Dr. Nelson and his staff!

I was so very fortunate to have found Dr. Bruce Nelson. My dentist has just informed me that I needed to go for periodontal therapy and it put the worst fear in me. I had it done about ten years previously and never hurt so bad in my life.
About a month later, I received a card in the mail that said Dr. Nelson had an office near my neighborhood and that he did Laser Periodontal Therapy. This was the answer to my prayers. In my mind I had already decided to have my teeth pulled and get false ones. The pain of the previous surgery had never left me. I made an appointment with Dr. Nelson, and arranged the Laser surgery. The day of the surgery I was a little apprehensive, but it turned out there was no need to be. There was no pain or bleeding during the surgery and I could even watch it as he performed it on his hi-tech monitor. During and after the surgery I had very little discomfort, and no bleeding or swelling. It was comparable to having a tooth filled with a local. The following week I had to eat soft foods to make sure my teeth would heal properly. Otherwise I could have chewed anything I think, as there wasn't any discomfort at all.
I am very pleased with the results, and my teeth are no longer hurting or loose. The gums look great and I would recommend this therapy to anyone that needs Periodontal care. I also want to mention that he has a wonderful caring staff working with him!

Jill has a beautiful smile as a result of her orthodontic treatment. I have suffered from periodontal disease for many years. My previous experiences with the "old style" surgery were close to horrific! I recently was the recipient of the new laser surgery and the difference was phenomenal! No bleeding, swelling or pain. I can honestly say that my pain level the very next day was equal to the minor discomfort you feel after having a cleaning......extremely minimal!
I have referred many friends and family members to Dr. Nelson over the years and will continue to do so without hesitation.

better than the laboratory method.
Watching you design the tooth right there, then seeing the block of porcelain that will ultimately be my new 13 getting carved
up by that little robot. What a great experience.
Here's the best part. The very next day I was incredibly comfortable. Two days later, my teeth felt better than they had in a
very long time. The new tooth is so good it actually makes the ones next to it feel better. I think I could bite into anything.
